"How long does the battery last" doesn't have one answer for a headlamp with six modes — it depends entirely on which one you pick. Here's what the LI-2 actually delivers, mode by mode, and how to charge and store it correctly.

The gap between the shortest mode (Spotlight Flash, >9 hours) and the longest (Floodlight Ultra-long, >90 hours) is roughly 10x — which is normal for LED lighting, where output and runtime trade off directly against each other on the same battery. A brighter mode draws more current and drains faster; a dimmer or intermittent mode stretches the same charge much further. Picking the mode that matches the actual task, rather than defaulting to the brightest setting, is the single biggest lever over how long the LI-2 lasts between charges.
A full charge takes 2.5 hours via the built-in Type-C port — a widely available connector that most phone and laptop chargers already use, rather than a proprietary cable that's easy to lose or forget on a job.
If the LI-2 is going into storage for an extended period — between seasonal work, or as backup equipment that isn't used often — the manufacturer recommends running it through a full recharge cycle roughly every 3 months.
