A compact, remote-controlled pan-tilt work light that acts as a personal lighting technician for the job site — all-directional, precisely aimed, dimmable lighting via a handheld remote.
The LI-TP-200 is a compact, remote-controlled pan-tilt work light — a magnetically-mounted head, motorized on two axes, that lets an operator re-aim the beam from up to 30m away without climbing down or repositioning the mount itself. It acts as a personal lighting technician for the job: point it once, then adjust direction and brightness from a handheld remote as the work moves.
1,200–12,000 lumens across three brightness levels (Eco / Standard / Turbo), adjustable directly from the remote. Three lighting distance modes are also available: Distance, Midrange, and Close-range.
Runs on LI-24-100 series battery packs — battery only, no AC mains option on this model. An onboard control board provides USB output alongside manual controls.
Over 4 hours in Standard mode on a single LI-24-100 pack.
Battery packs charge via the included LI-MC-1 charger.
No mast — the head is motorized on two axes (360° horizontal, 180° vertical) and attaches via a magnetic base rated for any iron or steel surface, with a safety cord as a physical backup to the magnetic hold. A handheld remote with a directional joystick controls rotation, brightness, mode, and reset from up to 30m away.
IP66 rated per IEC 60529 — fully dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. Working temperature -10°C to 50°C; working humidity 1–98%. It mounts via a magnetic base rather than a freestanding mast, so it isn't independently wind-rated the way the LI-300/LI-500 towers are — check your mounting surface for high-wind sites.
4.4kg (fitting only) — light enough for one person to mount and aim without strain, on a vehicle roof, cabinet, or steel structure.

The LI-TP-200's remote pan-tilt head earns its keep wherever a technician needs to re-aim light repeatedly without climbing down or repositioning equipment.
Read our Telecom Tower Maintenance guide for a deeper look at this use case.
| Factor | LI-TP-200 | Fixed / Hand-Held Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Performance | Up to 12,000 lm, remotely re-aimable | Fixed beam direction, or requires manual re-aiming |
| Power source | Lithium battery pack | Often wired mains, or a separate battery unit |
| Fuel requirement | None | None (electric alternatives), or generator-fed on some fixed rigs |
| Noise | Silent | Typically silent (electric); noisy if generator-fed |
| Emissions | None | None (electric); exhaust if generator-fed |
| Deployment | Single person, magnetic mount, remote aiming | Often needs climbing or repositioning to re-aim |
| Maintenance | No wiring to install or maintain | Fixed wiring may need installation and upkeep |
| Operating cost | Battery/electricity only | Installation cost for fixed wiring, or labour cost of manual re-aiming |
Comparison reflects general characteristics of fixed or hand-aimed work lighting as an equipment category, not a specific competitor product.
Battery operation means no exhaust emissions and silent running. Remote aiming removes the need to climb to reposition a fixed light or hold a hand-aimed one, reducing exposure to working-at-height and manual-handling risk during repositioning. IP66 sealing protects the electrical system from dust and water ingress. See our guide to IP ratings and industrial lighting standards for what IP66 covers.
Up to 30 metres, letting operators re-aim the light without climbing down or repositioning a vehicle.
360° horizontal pan and 180° vertical tilt.
IP66, rated for dust and water exposure.
A magnetic base with a safety cord, suited to vehicle roofs, electrical panels, aerial lifts, and utility line work.
